How FrameRipper works

FrameRipper processes videos entirely inside your web browser using the HTML5 Video and Canvas APIs. When you select a video file, it is read locally from your device. No video data is uploaded to any server at any point during extraction.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to your video files, extracted frames, personal information, account credentials (there are no accounts), or any content you process through FrameRipper.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page view data (page URL, country, browser type). No personal data, cookies, or identifying information is stored. Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and GDPR compliant.

Cookies

FrameRipper does not set any cookies. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any other identification mechanism.

Third-party services

The only third-party service is Vercel (hosting and analytics). No other third-party scripts, trackers, or services are loaded.

How to verify

Open your browser's developer tools (F12), navigate to the Network tab, and perform a frame extraction. You will see zero outbound requests during the extraction process.
